Our trails have improved big time. Last Friday night we received 5+ inches of snow in the Back Lake area and up to 8+ inches in the higher elevations.
The trails that were closed last week were reopened on Saturday. Trails from Back Lake are in fair condition and the trails from First Connecticut Lake and north are in great condition. The trails to the north and east continue to be the best. Trails south of Back Lake are poor with thin snow coverage, rocks and ice.
The PRR grooming crew have been working their magic getting the trails in great shape the last two nights and two groomers will be out there again tonight. Take a look at our Facebook page for more recent photos and trail reports from riders.
The Pittsburg Ridge Runners have a big weekend coming up.
We have the Steak Feed and the Snowmobile Raffle Drawing on Saturday starting at 4:30 to 7:00pm, and the Pittsburg High School Poker Run.
The Warming Hut will be open too on Saturday 10 to 3. Lots of fun!
