Kevin’s Trail Report for Friday, February 5th, 2021

by | Feb 5, 2021 | Club News, Trail Reports, What We're Talking About

” We received approximately 6 to 10 inches of snow this week. On Wednesday and Thursday we had freezing drizzle which was a good thing. It added a little moisture which helped pack the new snow to a hard base.

The groomers have been running steady all week and will be back out today and right through the weekend.

Thursday night the Malvina Loop and Trail 20 south was groomed. Trail 20 South to Vermont will be hit again tonight.

TRAIL CONDITIONS –

Back Lake / south – Good to Very Good. Thin cover here & there and a few rocks pocking through.

Back Lake hub area – Very Good. Also thin cover here & there and a few rocks pocking through.

First Lake, West, North & East – Very Good to Excellent

VT’s Open Snowmobile Weekend – February 5, 6, 7th 2021, Insurance requirements

The groomers will be heading out later today and will be out there each night though the weekend starting at 3:00pm.

Please watch for the groomers.

Two inches of snow is forecasted for tonight. Fresh frosting.

Please ride safe and have a great weekend.”
