A portion of our trail system has been temporarily closed due to icy conditions caused by yesterday’s rain and warm temperatures. There is still riding in the most northern higher elevations but even those trails will be icy providing little lubrication until we receive more snow. There may be some water on the trails also. We recommend riders trailer to Magalloway Road or to the East Inlet/Deer Mountain areas. Please be aware that gas will not be available by trail. We are hoping for snow possibly on Friday or Saturday and it looks like we could get something substantial next week.
Lets hope for that.

Grooming has also been suspended until conditions change. We will keep you posted.
The Warming Hut will be open this Saturday and Pittsburg’s Fire & Rescue will be in the house so stop by for a bowl of Spirit Station Beef Chili and checkout all the rescue equipment on display.
