Hello snowmobilers, It’s been a beautiful and busy summer in Pittsburg. The last few nights have been cool, and you know what that means…….snowmobile season will be here before you know it. This coming Saturday is Pittsburg’s Old Home Day and the Pittsburg Fire Department’s 100th Anniversary Celebration.The Ridge Runners will have a booth selling Burgers & Dogs and another booth selling memberships, snowmobile raffle tickets and clothing.Our club secretary, Stacy O’Neil could use some help at the booth. GNWR and Pittsburg Ridge Runners present our 1st Annual ATV Poker Run on Sunday, September 4th benefiting Camp Sno-Mo and Two Rivers Ride for Cancer. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: 9:00am – 10:00am – Registration (Back Lake Rd ATV Parking Lot) to receive registration card to be stamped. 1:00pm – 3:00pm Poker Hands dealt at “The Pitt” located at the Buck Rub Pub $20.00 per hand • 5 stops per hand • 2 bonus stops by visiting two sponsors listed below Business sponsors: The Breakfast Nook Grampy’s Pittsburg Trading Post Full Send Bar and Grill Young’s Store Bear Rock Adventures All proceeds from this event will benefit two local charities: Camp Sno-Mo and Two Rivers Ride for Cancer! On Saturday, October 8th we will have a Bake Sale to benefit Camp Sno-Mo at Young’s Store. Corinne Howland is organizing this fund raiser and is looking for baked goods, and other food donations. Last year’s bake sale was a huge success raising over $1,000.You can contact Corinne at:[email protected] The Annual Christmas Craft Fair is scheduled for Saturday, November 26th at the Club House.
