Its been a warm week here in Pittsburg but it looks like a chilly weekend ahead. Last night we received 5” of snow with more in the higher elevations with persistent flurries today. Grooming will continue in our northern section from Magalloway Road northward.
The following trails will be open but UNGROOMED: Please use caution.
Trail 139 from Lopstick/Ramblewood to Trail 140 (Perry Stream)
Trail 112 from Magalloway/Rte 3 to Trail 140 (Perry Stream)
Trail 141 (Deer Mountain) to Trail 140 (Perry Stream)
You will need to trailer to parking lots at Magalloway & Deer Mountain. Be respectful of how you park as parking is limited, please note you are not permitted to ride the side of Route 3. I might suggest that if lots are full unload your machines at the trailhead and relocate your vehicle to an adjacent parking lot and walk to the trailhead.
Neighboring club’s trails are not open so don’t Trespass.
It is important to remember that it is a privilege to ride on trails as they are all privately owned and we must always be respectful or run a high risk of loosing this privilege.
Trails have decent riding, but may have bare spots, ice or rough sections and partially open water bars.
