January 15th, 2026 Trail Report Plus….

by | Jan 15, 2026 | Club News, Trail Reports, What We're Talking About

Hello Members! Well the January thaw showed up this week but overall the trail system held up pretty well. Temperatures are predicted to start trending downward and 2-4″ of new snow in the forecast will result in continued great riding. There continues to be confusion on the Smith Brook Area/Trail 144.

Review the map below BOLD BLACK IS CLOSED.

Overall trail conditions are in good shape – moderate around the hub; expect great riding in the northern section.

Groomers have not been out for the last two nights due to warm temperatures. Starting Friday morning the groomers will be running day and night so PLEASE USE CAUTION when approaching a groomer and wait for the operator to safely wave you by.

We have a request – next year the club will be putting together a calendar. At this point we are collecting pictures so if you have a cool photo that you would like us to consider using please forward to PRRSCPRES@GMAIL.COM. We will be collecting pictures thru the end of riding season.
