TRAIL REPORT 2-19-25

WOW!!! That was quite the wind storm!
It’s hard to tell how much snow we actually got but let’s go with 8-10”. The snow drifts on the trails were picturesque seeing what Mother Nature had created.
Groomer Operators were reporting 10’ drifts on trails 140 & 5.
The Groomer Operators have been putting in some long days getting the trail system back together.
The shop has been working equally as hard keeping machinery running along with volunteers that continue to show up and donate their valuable time assisting in many ways.
Temperatures are expected to inch upwards making for some very nice riding conditions on great trails.
If you feel the need to take pictures be sure to pull safely off the trail.
Logging on Trail 20 between 140 & 136 is completed and this section of trail is now open and groomed.
When you catchup to a Groomer it is important for you to stay back and wait for the Groomer Operator to signal you by. When you travel towards a Groomer, you must yield to them as they will not go off trail to let you by.
