TRAIL REPORT: January 15, 2025
If anyone ever wondered what it would be like living in a snow globe – that was Pittsburg this week. The mountain flurries continue to blanket us with new snow on a daily basis.
With 95% of our trail system open and groomed the trail conditions are reported to be good to great. The continued marginal conditions are closer to the village due to snow cover and high traffic.
A COUPLE OF NOTES:
Melvina Loop (Trail 142) is Open – Access is off Trail 20 on Shatney Mountain.
Indian Stream Road remains closed.
Trail 20 is closed between 1921 and 2440 ; Trail 20 & Trail 5 intersection and Trail 20 & Trail 136 intersection for logging.
Trail 20 to Beech Falls is open but expect marginal conditions.
