Trail 139, alongside First Connecticut Lake, is open and passible with open water bars.
You can easily navigate around them with caution.
Trail 142 alongside Lake Francis is also open and passible.
Both sections of 139 and 142 won’t be groomed until snow cover improves. We are doing our best to provide a safer alternative for YOU as the rider.
It’s not perfect, but it’s better than crossing a lake over thin ice.
