Groomers ready to roll!
Kevin’s latest trail report…..
“Well to say the least I have been a little bit busy and definitely delayed in getting out a current trail report for the end of the week.
Groomers are still running every night as temperatures allow. The colder temperatures this past week have definitely set our trail system up for some awesome March riding.
This weekend’s weather couldn’t have been more perfect with bright sunshine and warmer temperatures during the day for everyone to get out and enjoy some of the best riding of the entire season in Pittsburg.
Not much new to report on at this time except we still have tons of snow cover on the entire trail system and we will continue to groom on a steady basis as long as grant in aid hours hold up.”
Kevin Lassonde, Grooming coordinator.
This weekend we’ve had the Great North Woods Sled Dog Challenge races. It’s great to watch the mushers and their dog teams out on the trials. For more racing action, check it out on their Facebook page. Sunday they will be racing in the Diamond Pond area.
Last weekend Snofest was a great success with all the help provided by all the volunteers that helped made it all happen. We would like to thank some of our PRRSC members that volunteered at the Snowfest.
Jon Swain, Steve Voisine, Katt & Terry Stewart, Cami & Tom Wachsmuth, Joe Finney, Chris Cwiek,
