The winter roller coaster ride continues with crazy swings in temps and precipitation types but our grooming team has prevailed! They have delivered the best conditions in spite of changes. Don’t forget the 20th annual North Country Firefighters Poker Run on Saturday (2/9) starting at the Colebrook fire station and ending at the Beecher Falls fire department. Speaking of fire departments, The PRR Warming Hut will be having our fundraiser for The Pittsburg Fire/Rescue Department on Saturday, Feb 16th! The PRRSC donates all the proceeds of our food sales at The Hut that day to show our appreciation for our 1st responders. We will have the Fire Rescue rig on display (unless it’s called into service) for you to see and ask questions.
This week, Cathy & Terry Swain will be the hosts. They will be joined by Dave O’Neil and Butch Swain. Our menu will have will have Sausage Tortellini Soup made for us by Cassie Owen. They will have Turkey soup as well as “Hut” Dogs, the best dogs anywhere! Hot and cold drinks, fresh baked cookies, candies, PRR hats & maps and raffle tickets for the 2019 SkiDoo to be awarded to some lucky person on Feb 23rd at The PRR Steak Feed! If you haven’t got your ticket, what are you waiting for? $20. For a brand-new sled sounds pretty good to me! There will also be an assortment of PRR men’s and ladies T’s and sweatshirts available at The Hut too. Soooo…if you’re enjoying the best trails in NH, (the PRRSC trails, of course!) stop up to The Hut, open Saturdays from 10am to 3pm.
