Pittsburg NH Snowmobile Trail Report – January 17th, 2017

by | Jan 17, 2017 | Club News, Trail Reports, Warming Hut, What We're Talking About

Hello Snowmobilers,
groomer-with-flag-copy
Our trail conditions have been excellent.
Last week’s warm weather and rain did some damage to the trails and then with a few more inches of fresh powder, our groomers operators whipped the trails back into great shape. There were lots of very happy riders up here this past weekend.
We will be getting more snow starting tonight and into tomorrow which will be great for the trails in the lower elevations and high traffic areas.
Overall the trails are in excellent condition but be aware of some icy corners particularly on Pittsburg’s southern trails.

What’s happening in the Burg….

The Snowmobile Blessing went well with 70 + riders in attendance. Safe travels everyone.

The PRR Warming Hut will be open on Saturday 10 to 3. Sue & Bob will be there serving up hot food and their great northern hospitality. Stop on by and say hello.

Where’s Melvin you ask? What trail will he be on this weekend?? Who knows where the groomers drivers will drop him off next. Over 100 riders have found him so far this season!

Our Annual Turkey Dinner is only a couple of weeks away. Mark your calendar!
We do need frozen turkeys for the dinner. Donations can be dropped off at the clubhouse in the morning Monday thru Friday or you can drop them off at Ramblewood Cabins.
The Turkey Dinner is a fund raiser for our scholarship presented each year to a Pittsburg High School graduate. Thanks to everyone that donated turkeys last year. We really appreciate your help.
