Pittsburg NH Snowmobile Trail Report for Tuesday, December 20th, 2016

by | Dec 20, 2016 | Club News, Trail Reports, What We're Talking About

Hello Snowmobilers,

“All 4 of our Pisten Bully fleet were out Monday night into this morning making improvements to the trail system.
The northern tier seems to have fared very well after the bad weather on Sunday. Great to Excellent Conditions exist.
Mid system is Fair to Good, and south of Back Lake is Fair. The Malvina loop has been groomed!!! Excellent snow cover.

Don’t forget to look for Melvin the moose in you travels.

It’s been a long day or night. Hmmmm….. I guess both!
Please enjoy the trails, ride responsibly and please thank a Groomer operator and the land owners. Without them we would not be going anywhere.”

Kevin Lassonde, PRR Grooming Coordinator

Corridor 20 is now open and groomed to Vermont.

The recent rain has resulted in minimum conditions from Pittsburg Village to the Back Lake area. Trailering north is recommended. The usual parking places are open.

All trails are open with the following exceptions.

Corridor 20 from jct 1921 to jct 3130 at trail 137 is closed.

Trail 136 and that portion of trail 112 from junction 1052 to junction 3092 is also closed.

There is a large water hole on trail 142 south of the Buck Rub Pub at Rabbit Run road crossing. Use caution.

Active logging is taking place in some of these areas so PLEASE do not ride in closed areas.

These closures are due to open sometime this week. We will post a revised trail report when any of these trails open.
