The Burg and our neighboring towns were blessed yesterday with 6+ inches of snow. Probably much more in the higher elevations.
Three of the PRR groomers will be out tonight getting the trails in great shape for the weekend and will be grooming both Friday and Saturday nights also. One groomer will be starting from the Back Lake area heading north and covering the trails west of Route 3 and the other two groomers will groom all the trails to the north and east side of Route 3.
We’ve heard that the Swift Diamond Riders and the Colebrook Ski-Bees clubs are also grooming. Just think about how many trails you will have to ride this weekend. Awesome! This may be the best riding of the season!
Our weather forecast is looking great for the weekend with seasonal temperatures and sunshine for Friday and Saturday.
Be aware that there may be ice in the corners and ice on the southern trails. Please be careful and slow down
TRAIL CLOSURES: Trail 141 between Dorman’s gas and Young’s Store remains closed.
The trails in Pittsburg village are closed. The snow is still thin is these areas.
