Kevin’s Trail Update – Thursday, December 19th, 2019

by | Dec 19, 2019 | Club News, Trail Reports, What We're Talking About

Trails announcement!!

We have received 6 to 8 inches of fresh snow in the past 24 hours. groomers will be heading out tomorrow and Friday in the northeastern section to start packing things down so hopefully what we have will freeze and stay on our already icy base.

Please use extreme caution there are many miles of icy roads beneath this 6in of powder, the corners will be slippery and we don’t want to have any mishaps.

The trails in this photograph highlighted in Orange will be open starting Saturday morning at 7 am. anyting on the left side of the black dividing line will remain closed for at least a few more days most likely opening the day after Christmas, but that still is not a definite.

There have been numerous changes in the numbering to our trail system, please buy a map and pay close attention to where the new numbers have been placed or existing numbers have been relocated to.

Any lines on the map that are DOTTED ARE CLOSED until further notice most likely all winter.
Absolutely stay off from all bodies of water whether they are frozen or not nothing is safe enough for vehicle traffic yet.

Your next update will be Sunday or Monday December 22 or 23.

Sincerely,
The groomer grinch🙂
