There are still good conditions up north.                               Sue Gaudette photo

Kevin’s Trail Report – The Good, The Bad & yes The Ugly….

“The high traffic areas took a hit with several days of warm temperatures. Getting to gas will be tough with lots of dirt and mud.

Cold temperatures will return this weekend, and we may even get some snow starting Friday night.

Watch for trail closures such as the fields between Young’s Store and Dorman Quick Stop Gas. We will talk with the property owner to see what they would like to do.

We are planning on grooming Saturday and Sunday nights, and will continue to groom as much as possible to keep the trails flat.  Not sure about Friday night at this time.

You may want to trailer to get to better conditions quicker.

Trail conditions up north, west & east are still in decent shape.

WARNING: There have been many complaints this winter that some riders are not obeying the STOP signs at Karl’s Motor Sports, located across Route 3 from Dorman’s Quick Stop. It is private property and the landowner is asking that riders please respect the signs. We do not want to lose that trail. Thank you.

We will have another trail update on Saturday.

Have a great weekend, watch for icy conditions and ride safe.
